• It happens to be one of the most expensive countertops.
• Granite slabs are extremely heavy, which makes their installation difficult.
• The material has a high chance of getting damaged if not handled properly.
• Granite must be sealed, or it will retain moisture.

Marble Countertops

Marble Pros:

• Durability. It’s strong and can resist most dents and chips.
• Can be polished if you prefer a high shine finish or it can also be given a casual matte finish.
• It is flexible in style.

Marble Cons:

• Marble is on the expensive side.
• The porous nature of the marble makes it likely to scratches, stains and etching from acidic materials.
