Is caesarstone a natural stone?

Caesarstone slabs have a ratio of up to 93% natural quartz minerals. Quartz is one of the hardest and most sustainable minerals on earth. During the ceasarstone engineering process quartz is combined with a small amount of polymer resins for binding and pigments for color.

Can caesarstone be used in showers?

Since Caesarstone’s quartz is nonporous, it’s the ideal material for moist and warm areas like the shower and surrounding bathroom walls.

Can you put hot pots on caesarstone?

Caesarstone is heat resistant, however like all stone materials; Caesarstone can be damaged by sudden and rapid surface temperature changes. We recommend placing hot pots, oven trays and frying pans directly from the oven onto a heat trivet.

Does caesarstone stain easily?

Caesarstone is resistant to cracks, scratches and stains. Caesarstone is resistant to most stains caused by fruit juices, coffee, tea, wine, grapes and soft drinks. However, like most materials, excessive force or pressure from hard or sharp objects can damage the surface.

Ceasarstone vs Granite countertops

Natural granite has more varieties of color and pattern, while Caesarstone has a limited, but predictable color range and pattern. Both are excellent stones for homeowners with families.

Caesarstone is made of quartz, which is more dense and porous than granite. For this reason, a Caesarstone kitchen countertop does not ussually require any type of sealant applied to it.
